Specials and books and stickers and flags and fun. We support Pride year-round but REALLY love to celebrate in June to highlight our LGBTQ+ neighbors and community.

Through mindful movement, guided meditation, reflective journaling, and meaningful discussion, participants will explore self-awareness, presence, personal growth, and connection in a warm and welcoming community setting. Each session offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and cultivate greater intention in everyday life.

Magic Evan is coming to the Katonah Reading Room for a super fun magic show & workshop. $25/ticket, June 16th at 4pm.

Join us for a pottery making workshop to create your own paint palette. Elana Levy will be teaching us how to create the pieces in a two hour clay workshop. We will craft a paint palette, small water dish and a paintbrush rest. Soooo cute!!! Elana will then take the pieces, fire them and finish and bring them back for you to pick up (approx two weeks). This month our fabulous Mah Jongg teacher, Pamela Suett, will be switching to teaching Canasta! Have you ever wanted to learn how to play? Ready to conquer the next game? Join us. “Canasta is a form of rummy using two full decks in which players or partnerships try to meld groups of three or more cards of the same rank and score bonuses for 7-card melds.” The class will be taught in 5 sessions, Tuesdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm here in our Reading Room event space.
