Who's in Charge of New York State?: A Kid's Guide to the State Government follows a curious kid learning how New York's government works: from the Governor to the Legislature to the courts, through relatable, real-life comparisons. Ages 8-10.

About Jane Rosenfeld
Jane Rosenfeld is an elementary school teacher and lifelong New Yorker who loves helping kids see how their world works. This year she's on sabbatical from her 4th grade classroom, traveling the country to study civics education. Who's in Charge of New York State? grew out of the questions her students ask every day.
